Summary: Carry out all functions related to the timely shipment of orders and products to their proper destination. As the Shipping Clerk and a member of the Production Team, you are accountable for meeting the department production and quality goals, as well as playing a key role in meeting company-wide profitability and customer satisfaction goals: o Guarantee satisfaction and value for customers. o Contribute to a work environment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team and promotes personal growth. o Maintain personal productivity and quality standards that make possible attractive financial returns so that the company may continue to provide excellent service to our customers and potential career growth to our staff.
Essential Functions: o Run the shipping lines. o Manifest packages to the Manifest System and run reports. o Palletizes and prepares products for shipment. o Identify and prioritize rush orders. o Contact couriers as necessary. o Pack product when necessary.
ADDITIONAL
Responsibilities: o Monitor and manage inventory of shipping supplies. Order and stock supplies as instructed by supervisor. o Inform supervisor of equipment problems. o Comply with all OSHA safety requirements. o Participate as a key player in the company by supporting operations as needed. o Communicate effectively with the Plant Manager, Client Care Team and Production Team informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that both company and customer objectives are met. o Follow systems and procedures outlined in company manual.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS: o Proficient in all shipping operations. o Excellent language and communication skills. o Adequate PC knowledge. o Able to read instructions and comprehend specifications and format in English. o Must be detail oriented and accurate in writing and numbers. o Must possess basic mathematical and keyboard skills. o Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
