Quality Assurance Analyst - TW Metals

TW Metals is seeking to hire a QA Assistant to join our team at our Cranbury, NJ location.

Responsibilities: I mplements and coordinates the Quality Assurance program procedures by performing the duties listed below (the full scope of responsibilities are not limited to those listed):
+ Examines incoming paperwork to assure compliance to size and weight of product and results of quality tests.
+ Inspects product to determine compliance with order specifications, company's quality control system for compliance and conformity to specified standards.
+ Stamps mark of approval or rejection for product and records report of examinations.
+ Work with vendors on material discrepancies and or rejections
+ Perform inventory adjustments and issue vendor debits for the return material
+ Reviews problems with processes or procedures and recommends solutions or changes in procedures.
+ Visits and confers with manufacturing representatives of material and components to obtain information related to material quality, and vendor quality standards.
Requirements:
+ Undergraduate degree in Quality Assurance or a business related field, and/or five years of experience in Quality Assurance.
+ Ability to effectively communicate with employees, management, and customers is a must for this position.
+ Ability to comprehend concepts of moderate to high difficulty, and the ability to communicate responses and actions related to these concepts.
+ Ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office
+ Ability to the proprietary program known as Metalware.
+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
+ Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
+ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
+ Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
